"Bharat ke  Raste ”   ek  Abhiyan    

INTRODUCTION

Indian economy is growing with GDP growth of 6-7%.In order to sustain this high growth India need better infra structure.

 Indian roads are

 1) National highways

2) State highways connected to cities

3) State roads

4) Village roads

Indian roads  condition is poor .having potholes causing accidents loss of life.,Vehicle damage ,wastage of fuels.

Dr. Deshmukh material  scientist and presently associated with e-cube consultant has developed roads named e- path and e-Marg.

I )What is e-Path

It is 40 mm layer of bituminous macadam on damaged roads with 25-30% porosity and the pores are filled with high strength cementitious  grout 

II) What is e-Marg

 Thin layer of white topping on damaged roads

These two technologies are used at Surat municipal corporation  and Thane municipal corporation for last ten years with out any potholes

 IV) Corrupt Municipalities

Though the above roads are cheaper durable and endorsed by the Indian road congress (IRC) the authorities do not encourage to use these roads because the money cut they get is reduced almost half the amount.

V) Use of foreign technology for road repair

Every year during monsoon the roads are  full of potholes .Every year there is pressure from the public to repair. At such situation the engineer is not using the available technologies but use foreign  technologies .Our experience is these technologies do not work but because of foreign country trip the engineers recommend the imported products.

2) Conserve the cement raw materials

3) No traffic jam

4) Roads with no potholes

It can be used all over INDIA  to achieve the Govts ambitious plan of 30 km roads  daily.

The Modi government has proposed money for infra structural development in this budget which has been presented to nation .The technologies e-Path and e-Marg are tested and proven for pothole free roads. The authorities should use these technologies.
