We have laid concrete overlay 150mm thick on 150mm thick  GSB with the help of Thane unit of Prime Minister Gram Sadak Yogana at Murbad  The road is in good condition since two years
The road has been accepted widely across the PMGSY official but it could not progress further because of the high initial cost , though it has many advantages and life cycle study has proved it’s economical
It has made us work further on optimisation of mix design. we found that  if  we reduce the cost of admixture we will be able to reduce the concrete cost
We approach BASF  construction chemical company and they have promised us to give the admixture at half the rate.
The surprise:  ONE TIME IMPOSSIBLE IS POSSIBLE TODAY

Why Not ?

I have been telling the scientific community for last five
years that UTWT has emerge as a people technology for
rehabilitation of damaged bituminous roads.
The same technology is also used in Murbad rural area in
Thane district under the scheme of Prime Minister Gram
Sadak Yogana.
The cost difference between the existing BM technologies
and UTWT technology is marginally higher but last five years
not a single penny is spent on the maintenance of UTWT
overlay.Maintenance of BM roads is huge and generally
maintenance funds are not available.
The mix contains fairly good amount of flyash that solves to
some extent flyash disposal problem. Why are our govt
institutions not taking lead to improve the existing codes on
flyash usages. I have proved that flyash with lime content
replaces around 60% of cement which is highly power
consuming to produce and causes pollution by releasing
carbon dioxide in atmosphere.
Why our institutions related to cement and concrete are
confine to arrange seminars and reading same Papers again
and again.
Why person from Germany taking interest in my work why
not our own people?
Why not we make life of our people more meaningful.?
